In MusicLAB we always say we teach music “in a different way.” But what does this mean?
There is a tendency in music education: all kids are expected to be talented musicians. And if not, they are expected to practice hard enough to make up for the lack of talent.
We believe everyone can learn and love music. But children should not be pushed to practice 3 hours a day. Instead, we teach them in the way that works for them. We let them take charge of their own learning process, so they can enjoy and will love music for all their lives.
